A substantial oak vitrine distinguished by its architectural presence, hand-carved detailing, and original supplier's label from Levi Lumb's Son of Poughkeepsie, New York.

Crafted at the turn of the twentieth century, the cabinet reflects the period's transition from Victorian ornament to the more disciplined vocabulary of the Arts & Crafts movement. A carved running-wave frieze, fluted details, and sculptural side supports lend the piece both character and restraint, while glazed doors bring lightness to its otherwise substantial form.
